Stopped in at Warner, one of our favorite wineries, for a tasting and to stock on some wines. The staff was very knowledgeable about the wines and even gave you combination of wines that created an entirely different beverage.Prices are good and as always we walked away with almost a case of wine. We like more of the sweet wines but they have a nice selection from dry to sweet to fruit wines. Make this one of you stops along the SW Michigan Wine Trail!

Warner is the oldest winery in Michigan and their wines show it. Almost all of their wines could be put up against just about any other wine in the country. Great variety at reasonable prices. There are five locations to taste the wine and the employees at the tasting rooms are very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Stephanie is the host with the most!!! I visited Warner's Tasting Room in New Buffalo, Michigan. It was in the off season which afforded the pourer, Stephanie time to recommend wines, pairings, and recipes!!! I purchased a couple of new varieties to cook with as well as to make drinks with, I a Cosmopolitan made with the Cherry Wine!!! I'm so very happy to give it a try. Also, to marinate pork chops in the Peach wine. Thanks for sharing and the recipes!!

We visited the Warner Vineyards during the annual Wine and Harvest festival. The first thing we noticed was the nice property. You cross a small bridge and a babbling brook meanders through the grounds. The wine tasting room was very nice, but as expected, very crowded during the festival. Also, one of the servers was serving white wine, but stated he had no way to keep the wine chilled once it was open. I thought that a winery that was sampling their chilled wine would have a way to keep it chilled - even if in a cooler. Other than that, it was a great experience and we purchased several bottles of their wine.

Our first stop on our Drive and Dine day was in Paw Paw where we visited the Warner winery. We had sampled the wines in Paw Paw before - probably 30 years ago and it seemed as if they were all sweetish fruit wines, but not this time! We had a wonderful tour with a lady named Carol who was from Kalamazoo. We enjoyed a wine tasting of six winds for five dollars and they were excellent. We walked away with two bottles of Wine, It was a difficult decision to bypass the whites, but we really enjoyed their Veritas which she equated to a Shiraz. Will's favorite was the Merlot, which was a Merlot and Cab blend and it was very nice. The location is lovely - and you will want to take pictures. And say hello to Carol!

Stop by the tasting room in New Buffalo! Warner has some very nice wines..even red wines from Michigan grapes. But you have to try the Port. The Port was fabulous! It would be great with barbecue and red meat. Don't just walk by this tasting room. There is a minimal price for tasting as at all wineries, but I bet you will find something you like, red, white, dry or sweet. We also had a great time talking with the wine bar-ista.

After reading the other reviews I was a little unsure on stopping. But so glad we did make the stop. The outside was simply beautiful. Enjoyed the wine tasting, but what made it the best was the employee working. She was super fun and very friendly. Will definitely suggest stopping.

We stopped at this winery because it was behind St Julians winery (no comparison). The saving grace was the exterior. .. there is a quaint area out front with an old train car and waterway running through. We could have just stayed outside. The wine we were given for the tasting ($5 for 6 samples) tasted horrible. You could tell the bottles had been opened awhile and started to turn "vinegary". They didn't rinse our glass between different samples, which is unheard of in wine sampling. We disliked the tasting so much that we didn't even finish a single one of our samples.

I had higher expectations of Warner based on the trip advisor reviews. I tried only the drier wines and must say they did not appeal to me at all. The tasting room is also kind of messy and disorganized and the servers were not very friendly or knowledgeable with the wines. This is one place I would pass on next visit.

This is my second trip to the Warner Winery in Paw Paw. Located directly off of M-40 southbound, the sales area and tasting rooms are in an historic brick building that used to be the electrical generating plant for Paw Paw.I opted not to do any tasting, but I specifically came to buy their sparkling red grape juice. This effervescent delight is made from red wine grapes and has no sugar added. It is incredibly refreshing on a hot day and offers all of the antioxidant properties of red grapes that make red wine such a health boon. There is a restaurant on site as well that features locally produced fare and of course, has wine on the menu. I did not eat there, but the menu looks interesting enough to make a return visit at another time.Warner's is worth a visit. The facility doesn't take much time to tour, there is a wide range of wine available, including some unusual fruit wines, for tasting and the prices are quite reasonable.

I visited the Warner Tasting Room in New Buffalo and was very impressed. The building and interior are plain and could benefit from improvements in decoration, but the service and wine were great. Warner offers a wine tasting for $5. Ice wine tasting is an extra $5. The regular tasting includes six tastes from a diverse wine menu. I was a huge fan of their dry whites and semi dry reds. The Chardonnay Reserve and Veritas (Semi-dry red) were my favorite. They also have some nice fruit wines. The Peach and Honey was very unique. My server, Stephanie, recommended serving it with sparkling wine. A great idea!! She was very helpful and kind. She even rustled up a chilled bottle of Chardonnay for me to go. This is a great place to taste if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere and helpful service. I would definitely return. It's a wonderful place to stock up on wine for the weekend.

Warner Winery was great!! Eight tastes for $5.00, very generous pours!! The 2 Cabs, Peach and Honey, Very, Very Cherry, and Grapes of Love were the best!!! Yes, I loved them!! Recipe shares were given which I can't wait to try!! The New Buffalo location is downtown and no frills; we're there for the wine, right?

I stopped into Warners Vineyards recently. I was supprised to discover that Warners is not a Winery at all. They grow no fruit, own no vineyards, and don't even make the products they sell. FennValley Winery in Fennville, MI actually makes all of their wine, bottles it, and even labels it. After this is complete, FennValley wholesales the products to Warners. Warners is simply a Retailer. I wouldn't have been upset, however the staff is misleading when answering questions about the winemaking end of the so called winery. It is also misleading to call this business "Warners Vineyards" when no vines are owned. The companies website is even misleading. What a SCAM.

After visiting the St. Julien Vineyard directly next door we visiting Warner Vineyards and were a little surprised. The grounds are beautiful and we could see the photo ops an event (wedding) would enjoy at this location. There is a covered bridge, sitting area, an amphitheatre, beautiful vines and flowers, etc., but upon entering the lobby that holds the wine tasting it was not as pleasant. We participated in the $5.00 wine tasting and my first choice was a chardonnay (their award winner) and they were completely out. That was surprising! While the other winery would rinse your glass out before you were served the next wine, this one did not. This one actually smelled like you were underground in a wine cellar. You actually felt that you might be underground, and you may or may not like this.

We should have know better when we saw all the limo/buses in the parking lot. This winery seems to focus on the volume of people and is not a relaxing experience. We opted to select the 4 wines that we wanted to taste (after paying the $4 fee each). The wines were ok-not good and not bad. We preferred the beer tasting. They credit you the $4 on a purchase of $20 or more so we grabbed a bottle of wine (in addition to the 6 pack of beer) to get the credit.
