Great wines to try. Knowledgable, friendly staff. Be sure to join the wine club. You get free tastings and discounts on wine purchases.

A great variety of wines that are a quality product served by knowledgeable staff. Nice wine club. Tour available at main winery.

We did the tour of the winery and learned alot. Then we did some wine tasting. Great wine and all their grapes are local. If you love wine you must go. The staff was great and really knew what they were talking about.

This particular winery has a very interesting tour. It gives you enough time to learn about Michigan wines and see production. There is a boat motor collection that is quite unique as well. The wines are decent for someone who does not prefer sweet wines. They had a great "Halloween" wine named Head Games. This will be nice warmed up in the fall.By the way they also make a kosher wine named shalom.

Attended the Wine Festival and also served wine at St. Julian's as a wine club member. St. Julian's wine is very good and their winery is a fun place to visit. They usually have wine that will please every palate and I'd highly recommend visiting their winery.

St. Julian offer a tour of their facility every hour - starts with a short video following by a tour of their production facility - ending in the tasting room, We were in a large group and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about their "Italian Roots - Michigan Soil" ... In addition to some wonderful wines - they also produce hard cider, vodka and award winning sherry. The people at St. Julian are wonderful especially "Laura" who provided us with a wealth of knowledge on the wine and spirit selections - Bravo Everyone.

It was worth driving a bit out of our water to visit. Excellent selection of wines from this family owned winery. Their tasting is extremely affordable and includes 6 different wines (and definitely more than a mere taste, a detailed explanation of the different wines (verbally and in writing) n and even includes the glass! The tour was interesting, but the tasting experience was my favorite. A much better experience than I've had from other wineries in the Great Lakes Region. We left with a larger purchase than expected and we will definitely return!

Great little winery. Small tour, nice little bar for tasting. Lived in the area for about 10 years and went a few times.

We aimed for Coloma to pick up fruits from the orchard and ended up in Paw Paw visiting the winery! http://www.stjulian.com/The tours happen each passing hour making it easy for visitors to adapt on the spot. While waiting for our 11 AM tour we browsed the prized wines elegantly presented on the shelves.I wish there was a legend to explain points system as such : http://www.winespectator.com/display/show/id/scoring-scale The tour was very informative about this family owned business dating back in 1836, in Detroit. But before we toured the winery we had a tasting of the goodies - six personal choices from a long list of wines, infusions and liquors for only $5 ! Needles to say my disposition was exceedingly sunny for a Monday morning on this special occasion!I would not recommend the Blue Huron that I tried or the 100% grape vodka, but I would suggest the late harvest Riesling and black cherry infusion. Traminette is also yum.At the end of the tour one can select a souvenir from the store, all reasonably priced.Overall a good experience.

yes this place is a real winery its been around this area since before I was born and I would come as a kid so it was great to come back as adult and get to sample the product.. there also is a new line of grape vodka and that is awesome as I am gluten free and its more fruity than potato vodka.. but even for kids its a cool tour and the tour is free.. still after all this time the champagne is awesome and the sparkling grape juice is great for the little ones makes them feel like they can have some fun too. the staff was really great and it brought back so many childhood memories.. great place..

I like history and family stories so the tour of this family owned and run winery was very interesting. Only about 30 minutes long and you get to see the major areas of the winery, the equipment used to crush, age, and bottle, and hear about the risks and rewards of being an agricultural business (too much rain, not enough, etc.) Many awards for this firm. I am a beer drinker so the tasting was foreign to me. But our guide was very informative explaining the various wines and helping us choose those we would taste. Found the champagne we will toast each anniversary with. Thanks Jordan.

Informative tour...free, which was nice, the wine was good and the staff seemed pleasant, but there was fruit flies in the salsa they had put out for people to try and when I told them the guy shrugged and went on pouring wines for people. Wine tasting was 6 samples for $5.

We were in the Dundee area for business and had an afternoon to kill - we made a great decision by doing the wine tasting at St. Julian's. The price was VERY reasonable and the lady behind the counter was awesome at suggesting their favorites and bests for us to try. We each actually got an extra taste or two of others simply because they were ones she was certain we would like and that we had not selected.I would definitely recommend a short stop to do the tasting and grab a few bottles of wine - we are actually planning to have some shipped to our home!

We were in Napa last month. St Julian is the the place for a big bold cab. This is the place for a friendly tour that shows you the process, storage, and building. All while being polite, nice, and friendly without the air of we are the best or special. We bought several good bottles of Riesling after the 5 dollar tasting. And you get to keep the glass. The best way to describe this place is FUN.
