pinehurst course number 8

Pretty good layout , fair , try to play #1,#3, or #5 before this one to warm up. Played during light rain so tough to judge it.

Ate a business lunch there and it was very nicely arranged with good service. Quiet, clean with great views of the course. Menu was well priced. Will definitely be bringing other business associates here for lunch.

I was a walk on! I waited two hours to Tee Off, no problem. Left my clubs at the bag drop. Saw an employee walk past them three times. After a half hour standing by the carts. They asked if I was waiting for my bag. I said yes. He said "why didn't you say something" I told them I paid $245 to play this course, why should I have to ask. Went to the range, no tubs, brushes, towels, anything to clean your clubs. No water at the starter to wet your towel. Course was in good shape! Came to a par 3 on the back nine. An employee was rolling the green. We stood on the Tee for 5 minutes. The employee refused to move off the green. After ten minutes we hit up anyway. I've never been so disrespected on a course!

Besides no. 2 this is my favorite course at Pinehurst. Topography is completely different than no. 2, wonderful views, differing hole layouts, changes in elevation and blind shots. Can be played by all handicaps and will be difficult. Only two silly greens. A "must play" in Pinehurst.

Although greens are new and do not hold the course gives you options by allowing you to run the ball up to the hole. The fairways are generous and in superb condition. If you like fast greens these are the fastest in Pinehurst

#8 was a very good challenge. Starter was very entertaining and knowledgeable.Good variety of holes.Conditions were great. Greens were difficult.Pace of play was a little slow.As with most of the courses at Pinehurst the difficulty increases after you leave the tee box.

I opted to play course 8 rather than course 2 because course 2 had just opened with new greens after the greens were changed following the US Open. Although the course was cart paths only due to considerable rain the night before, the greens were fast and true and the fairways drained well.

A great track, in great condition, but indifferent pro staff. Cart guys & starter were very welcoming.

A great modern golf course. Wonderful practice facility and clubhouse. New Bermuda grass greens are perfect.

Great course in very good condition, excellent pace of play. Would recommend for more advanced player, probably the next most difficult course after No 2.

My son and I really enjoyed this golf course. We have played several Fazio courses and they are all great layouts but the course was exceptionally conditioned.We had to play a shotgun start but was paired with a couple of very nice ladies. We never waited or had anyone wait on us so it was a very enjoyable experience.Highly recommend

Great layout and great conditions. Shuttle service was very nice. Liked my clubs being transported of me.

Scenic, trying, and fun golf course located on the edges of Pinehurst NC! The 14th hole will make your day!!

Best course for women at Pinehurst resort as front tees are very favorable. Frequent shuttle service makes it accessible from the Carolina Inn. Good food service in clubhouse.

Absolutely quiet - loved that. Didn't dislike anything about this course. Beautiful course, in great shape.
