The landscaping is spectacular and a credit to the local council. It is an absolute must for any visitor to Young. Put aside at least an hour or better still take your lunch with you.

Great park for a picnic or just a nice stroll. When we went there were a couple of groups have family bbqs. There's a stretch of water with a pretty bridge leading to a Chinese style arch to the garden. The garden itself has well maintained winding paths and ponds. A great place for a peaceful walk.

Less than 5 minutes from the main street of Young this is easy to find off Kingsvale Road. There's plenty of parking, including lots under shady trees. Around the little lake and dam are quite a few picnic tables and the whole area looks very well maintained, and there's a public toilet block as well. The garden is very nice - pretty well shaped trees and great lawn, with a nice even path that would be easy for wheelchairs or the infirm to walk on. It's not a huge walk, a couple of hundred metres around a nice pond with a little waterfall. Good and shady. There's a bit of bird life around too - honeyeaters, corellas and waterbirds in the dam.Well worth a stop for a picnic or just to admire the gardens.

Very clean and serene.A bit off the beaten track. Some members of the Chinese community and the Government have put in funds to build this memorial parkland.Only negative was a lone dog wandering around.Quite good public toilets well maintained.Great place for morning or afternoon tea.

Beautifully looked after, and I'm sure it's overlook by many travellers to Young. I'd recommend it to everyone

Visited young early October and the weather was perfect for our three days there. The Chinese gardens a must visit peaceful location and beautiful gardens, and no entry fee. We enjoyed our leisurely stroll around the gardens.

What a lovely place and so peaceful. We arrived on a early spring day, the water birds were swimming in Chinaman's Dam and the view across to the bridge and the entry gate was beautiful. We walked around for about 30 minutes then had our lunch on one of the picnic tables. There are toilet facilities and BBQs which can be used and plenty of parking as well as informative signage for the bird life and the history of the place. I can imagine each season brings a different view and experience. It's not a grand garden by any means, like the nearby Cowra Japanese Garden, but the fact that their is no admitance fee means if you have an hour or two while in Young it's certainly worth a visit.
