Small but fun for kids. Attendant was great with the kids and enthusiastic. A bit pricy but my 14 year old grandson enjoyed it.

I recommend stopping in if you are interested in adding to your collection of healing stones. I collect mostly pocket size stones. Their selection is excellent and the prices are low. I stop in several times each season and each time leave with one or two great finds at a bargain. The owner is kind and there to help if you ask, but he leaves you alone if you wish to just explore and enjoy the energy of the stones. He keeps a copy of the Book of Stones behind the counter which comes in handy if you want to look something up. Thanks to the Rock, Fossil and Dinosaur Shop my stones have grown over the years to one awesome collection.

My six-year old grand nephew had a blast. The owner was great and we had a good time. Small business.

Took my daughter here last weekend. It was small and a bit run-down, but the gentleman working there was kind, helpful and attentive. He helped my daughter identify some of the gems she found. She described it as the best experience of her life! They could probably use a bit more enthusiasm and creativity, but I give them two thumbs up!

I agree with all above. There was nothing to do or see here. We just stopped in and a man was in a chair outside, not sure if he worked there or not. We went in and he never said a word. As we were leaving he said your not buying anything ? We said there is nothing to get. As we were leaving on motorcycles my boyfriend tipped over( dropped) his bike a Harley Davidson the guy did not come to help or stop traffic . Will never stop there again. I was on my own motorcycle and had to get off to help.

A shabby, exploitative, ugly tourist trap that epitomizes the meaning of "bottom feeder." This junk-house is only able to eek out an existence because of the vapid crowds that wander north from Yankee Candle looking for a diversion.

Me and wife were there yesterday. The guy running the place is very lucky he has teeth at this point.They have a door that says mine shaft. I was like cool lets peek in. This guy starts snapping his fingers at me like I am a dog and told me to stay out It was for kids. I apologized and said I didn't realize. He looked at me like I disgusted him.The while we were walking around he walked directly into my wife's stomach while we were looking around. She didn't want to say anything because she is PREGNET and knew I would act less then nicely to this.This could be such a nice place if the guy running it took a manors class. He is very lucky my wife waited until we were in New York to tell me what he did.

We go up to Yankee Candle Flagship Store and Magic Wings a couple times a year. This little shop is in between. I have only seen it open in the warmer months. It's run down but they have some beautiful rocks and their prices are not to bad. A 10 min stop won't hurt if you are going between the 2 biggest attractions up there.

TOURIST TRAP, DONT EVEN BOTHER STOPPING! Stopped in to see what it was all about. Upon walking up you see a very old sign and an old statue of a velaciraptor that is broken and falling apart. Inside there is some very expensive rocks and fossils for sale. The inside is just as rundown as the outside. There is a fossil hunt for the kids to d and even that is extremely run down. I dont recommend this place. The man behind the counter made a very poor attempt at being friendly and engaging us in conversation.

I thought Rock, Fossil, and Dinosaur Shop was an good place for kids. It is a pretty small place and the little girl I was with seemed to enjoy herself. I think if you can turn it into a learning experience by explaining a lot of what the child looking at it is a worth see. However if you expect your child to entertain themselves ...then it probably won't be as good.

What a neat place! Had driven by a bunch of times and never thought much to stop in, finally did and it was worth it. Such neat stuff you look at and a really great place to stop by if you have kids!

Die Webseite verspricht sehr viel und sieht toll aus! ABER: Als wir dort ankamen war es geschlossen und niemand hat das Telefon beantwortet. (Habe es 3 Tage lang versucht.) Durch den Zaun haben wir ein paar Dinos, den Buddelkasten und das Schürfen gesehen alles sah extrem heruntergekommen aus. Es war eine Riesenentäuschung! Man könnte so viel draus machen....
