granbury visitor center

We were greeted warmly and was given all kinds of information about what was going on in town,.There were a lot of information not only what kinds of things there was to do in town but also other places in Texas. The restroom was clean.

Stopped in really just to use the restroom, and was pleasantly surprised with what a great visitor center they had. The restroom was extremely clean (and I'm a germaphobe so you know if I say it's clean it really is!). The lady at the desk was very sweet and asked us about our visit, made some recommendations and told us of several upcoming events. Well worth a stop in!

Tony was terrific, giving us more than what we asked. He was a font of information about almost everything in and around Granbury. Make sure to stop by the information center next to the court house when you're in town.

this is one of the better tourism welcome sites I've visited. the volunteer staff is very pleasant, helpful, and quite knowledgeable. I felt very welcomed here and it's super convenient right off of the square. Public restroom are well attended.

If you want a visitor center role model, this is the best I've seen so far. Friendly, well staffed and lots of take away material. The multipurpose facility also has the local police and meeting space all in one building.

Make this your first stop because they have tons of brochures on area attractions and will be happy to answer any questions you have. Check for discount coupons for the area shops--we could have saved 10% at the Panhandle cooking store (great place, with lots of spices, teas, coffee, soaps, and lotions). Good bathroom stop, too.

The employee in charge knows his stuff! Plenty of local information and pamphlets are available. Make this first stop when coming to town.

Information readily available with informative and helpfull staff

I called the visitor center and found the gentlemen to be very helpful and he mailed us a visitor guide and other useful information. Upon arriving in Granbury we visited the center and again the gentlemen was very helpful and pleasant. It was very refreshing - the visitor center was what a visitor center should be. They have an online version of their visitor guide which had a coupon that we tried to use at some lodging but was told it was outdated - however there was no expiration date on the coupon so this sounds like this was the fault of the hotel.
