We stayed here last weekend, there were a total of 6 of us & 3 reserved spots. When we checked in & went to get our spots one of them were taken. No big deal we luckly had 2 campers that would fit in one site so the other couple took the other spot. The people who worked there apologized & said we would square up the next day. The place is awesome & we had a great time except everyone had their coolers & campsites raided at night. Mostly everyone's alcohol & food. They took every ounce of our's. Everyone in the campground were furious. We stayed up & waited for them to come back the last night & sure enough they came back & we chased them but couldn't catch them. Too bad or we would of gave them a taste of their own medicine. They also took 2 of our cast iron pans. The college is only 8 miles away & apparently do this a lot. SO LOCK YOUR STUFF UP OR IT WILL BE MISSING!

Dropped our son off at College Orientation in Pullman and stayed down at Boyer Park and Marina for two nights in our RV. The drive through the Palouse was gorgeous. Very spur of the moment decision but luckily the park was not crowded (we stayed mid-week). We were pleasantly surprise with the park, restaurant and general store. Camp spots were level with most having full hookups (both 50 and 30 amp). River/Marina Views throughout the park. Grassy areas throughout. Fire pits with fires permitted.Store/Restaurant were great. Store had anything you might have forgotten and we had two excellent dinners at the restaurant (which we REALLY weren't expecting).Staff was very friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until they gave us directions on how to get pack to Pullman. We walked the Snake River Trail about 2 miles to Lower Granite Dam, visited the visitors center and watch the salmon making their way down the river. Worth the time. Saw a doe and two fawns, rabbits, and more quail than we could count. Late spring had all the flowers in bloom and we collected a beautiful bouquet for our picnic table back at the park. The dam visit was good (we live close to several dams on the Snake and Columbia so have been through this type of center before -- if you haven't, its worth the time) Also -- the park service conducts power house tours every 2 hours (we didn't chose as we had to rush).Drove down and visited the dunes areas just down stream of the damn. Large expanse of beach with shallow water (all sandy) about 50 yards out to the river channel. We'll definitely come back with our boat to enjoy properly.Overall a very good experience and one we will repeat.

In mid-August we took our cruiser from the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers all the way to Lewiston, ID. We locked through four dams each way and stayed at several marinas. This is one of them. Boyer Park campground and marina has all of the facilities and amenities that you need on an outing. If you arrive by boat they have transient moorage, gas, and waste pump-out. The mini-mart and restaurant building also houses a little motel called the Almota Inn. Boaters can also use the campground restroom and shower facilities. The place is very popular with steelhead and pike minnow fisherman so the store and marina are equipped with virtually everything you need. The grounds and facilities are well maintained. The park is almost right at the base of Little Goose Dam and there is a trail that you can walk from the park to the dam if you want. Very nice place for boaters. I will use it again.
