I brought my 3yr old daughter here and we had a BLAST! We picked strawberries and apples and it was soooo much fun! It was hot outside and we had to work to get what we wanted but boy was it worth it.. Definitely a nice way to spend some quality time outdoors and get away from city life! My daughter and I fell in love with Oak Glen at Rileys Apple Farm!No Entrance fee but you have to pay for a bag (size of your choice) to collect your apples or container for your berries.

We first stopped in town and had lunch at Law's coffee shop and visited shops on that side of Oak Glen. Then we stopped at Riley's on the way out of town. Way too many people. The line to get anything at the store was wrapped all around, you could barely walk in the store. I think Riley's might be fine if you arrive earlier, say late morning and make a day of it at Riley's. Otherwise they can't really handle so many people.

The apples were delicious, the weather was great, BBQ lunch was yummy. We took a hike for about an hour-somewhat strenuous but very enjoyable hike.

We came out 2 weekends ago and had a great time!We filled a box full of apples (red delicious & rome) in less than 30 minutes. They opened the rome orchard that day so there were plenty of apples, and we did not have to walk far to find them! Before heading home, we shopped at the market for cider and apple butter and had a BBQ lunch (mediocre). In hindsight, I should have bought a pie! I heard how amazing they are AFTER we left to come home.

I didn't realize how far off the fwy it is but it's worth the trip. However, we went at about 2PM on a Saturday. It was so busy it took us 30 minutes and a hefty walk to get to the orchards entrance. There's apple picking, candle making, cider, and pumpkins currently. It's a fun place to spend a few hours.

Medium sized farm - orchard. Good for young children. People are supper friendly and helpful. Yummy apple pies and cider float.

Wonderful colonial dining room. Rustic with a fireplace. Servers are dressed in colonial garb. Pot Pie is delicious and a favorite meal for us!

A group of us went to Riley's for the day, and very much enjoyed ourselves. We picked apples and also pressed cider. Both were delicious! You get a great bit of history going into the log cabin, and get to experience what the settlers went through years ago. We didn't do the hayride, but friends have told us it's a fun experience. If you're in that area, make sure you order an apple pie-- it's amazing!

We always brought our kids here in the fall when the apples are in. Don't bother in the summer, kinda boring. Bring a picnic, and buy a carmel apple. Yum!

We have always gone here to do some apple picking and there are several other things for you to do with the kids. They have apple cider making and activities such as knife throwing. They have a bbq on site and a little general store.

I have been several times - with a large group of families for a meal in the barn and entertainment - wonderful! I have been several times on educational trips with students from our school - the kids loved it! The carmel apples are super. Everyone talked highly of the apple pie - finally I went up specially to buy Chicken Pot Pies and an Apple Pie for a family meal - disapointed. It was ok. But the history in the place and the service and kindness you get from the employees can't be beat!

We go up here a few times a year. This is in the beautiful apple orchard area above the 10 freeway near Beaumont, CA. Beautiful stores and orchards. PS... Just know it is very busy in October but peaceful the rest of the year. About 5000 ft altitude.
