Attended a competition for Norwegian Fjords. The facilities are very nice with plenty of room for people and horses. This facility is very accommodating. Went there for family members in the competition and everyone that works there are so helpful and friendly. Have heard some of the riding trails around this facility are really nice. Would recommend stopping in there whenever there is an event going on.
This place is a hidden treasure. World Class Rodeo grounds in the nicest community EVER. Small town feel, HORSETOWN USA is the place to visit.
My wife and I attended the Extreme Mustang Makeover challenge May 16 & 17th. Really nice outdoor covered facility with an awesome view of the valley from the side of the hill. Easy access to the facility right of Sixth Street.
I judged a new Hunter/Jumper series show here and was quite impressed with the two huge covered rings, lots of parking and nice permanent bathrooms. The grounds staff seemed really willing to help accomodate the horseshow. It is really nice to see a community developing such a great facility. Guess it really is Horsetown USA!
The Ingalls Event Center consists of two large covered arenas (the main arena and the warm-up arena) and plenty of parking. This is where events such as rodeos and professional bull riding are held, and the event center is also used for Drill Team practice and competitions, weekend horse shows presented by local clubs, and basically any equine-related event in Norco.I used to compete in horse shows here many years ago, and at that time it consisted of one outside arena. It sure has grown! There is also an indoor hall that has a huge kitchen and can seat hundreds of people for banquets. Next to the hall is an outdoor auditorium where concerts and plays are performed. The annual Norco Valley Fair is held here around the first of September. When my mum and I visited here one afternoon, the only thing going on was a bunch of riders practicing and just enjoying the company of other equestrians.
