low key fisheries

We stopped by to pick-up some fresh shrimp for dinner. They had a large selection of heads off raw shrimp in a variety of sizes. The price was reasonable and the service was very fast as we were the only customers there at this time.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful in making our choices for supper a few times while we stayed nearby. They also carry bait, as well as some other, less local seafood in another freezer. But the fresh stuff is displayed in a clean atmosphere, with local condiments for purchase on shelves. Incidentally, we stopped into a grocery store a few days later and noticed they were charging the same amount for their snapper filets, except without the benefit of knowing who caught them. If you are shopping for seafood to take home and prepare, this is the place to get it.

We've been visiting Low Key for years and we always come back for more. When you park out front, look around back and you might see the fishermen dropping off their catch....just before you pick it up at the counter. Can't get any fresher. Prices are competitive.
