This place really is something with doing. A lot of walking but not stairs or hills really. It's not just the main cliff & waterfall it's just something worth doing. I wasn't so sure as I walked through the entrance that it was gonna be worth the money but it definitely is.

My family and I have been to Chattanooga on several occasions, however, this was our first trip to Rock City. I honestly wish we had gone sooner. We thoroughly enjoyed the trail around the gardens and all the different rock formations and of curse the absolutely spectacular view! Well worth the price and if you purchase a double play for Ruby Falls you can save a few dollars!

Excellent venue. While we visited in Jan. And the temp was 34 it was quite enjoyable. The plants were not in bloom but the rock formations and other natural beauty more than made up for the lack of flora. It also helped that for 3 hours we were the only ones there and could take our time

Wery interesting nature attraction. Everything is nicely organized - path through rocks, viewing areas, rest areas etc. Оn my opinion, the best time to visit will be when rhododendrons bloom. We also enjoyed the funnel cake. Great to visit with children!

We did the enchanted garden of lights. It was absolutely beautiful. It was a lot of walking but so worth it. There were lots of areas to stop and rest. One rest area half way through had fire pits that were very festive with rocking chars all around. We ordered a fresh kettle corn and it was so good we ate almost every bite. My favorite was going through the rock formations and caves.

We were able to catch the last night of their Christmas lights, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We did not have anything else to do that night, so we decided to try this. Honestly, we were concerned it would be a waste of money. It was anything but that. It turned out to be one of our favorite attractions in Chattanooga. If you don't like to walk, then this place is not for you. However, it is worth the time if you are willing to expend some energy. :) We enjoyed this so much that we definitely want to go back in the daytime to see everything that we missed in the dark.

The last time I was here I was a kid. Still as amazing as I remember. I cannot wait to bring my kids here this summer. Must do on trip.

Remove a girl about 50 years from her last visit and add a husband and two grandsons who have never visited, and you have a group ready to enjoy the beauty -- day and night -- of this marvelous wonder. This was a surprise stop for the grandsons on our way to the Smokies. I had investigated the prices for the evening light tour. For just $10 more per adult and $5 for a child, we added the day tour, so we received two tours in one. We were not disappointed in the beauty of the landscape -- seeing the seven states -- and even witnessed a couple getting engaged!!!

We always like driving to Chattanooga for a short trip and we've been to Rock City several times in the past. It's a great attraction and worth the price, especially if you find a deal. There's usually coupons to be had a local hotel lobbies and also AAA combo discounts if you go to the AAA office. Rock City is a short drive from downtown Chattanooga, maybe 15 minutes. Just follow all the signs. You cross into GA during the drive. This time around, we wanted to see the holiday lights and it was amazing. This is a separate entrance fee than if you went during the day. Basically the entire place is set up lights and it's a must see. This runs late Nov thru early Jan, so check their website. If you're lucky enough to find it not crowded, which is hard to do, it takes about an hour to casually stroll thru the whole thing. If it's crowded, it can take considerably longer. I would suggest going early, right when they open. Also, avoid the weekends right up against Christmas. But anyway, you'll enjoy it either way. It happened to have just finished raining when we got there, so we had the place virtually to ourselves. There were several spots along the way to stop and enjoy snacks that they're selling. We opted to wait and stop afterward at the Starbucks across the street for some hot chocolate. Be warned, they don't participate in any normal Starbucks promotions because they are owned by the Rock City people. I had a free coffee due to me, but they wouldn't honor it. Oh well.

It's sad you have to pay for natural rock formations, although there is a lot of man made things that are included! I loved Goblin's underpass, as well as Lover's Leap, and where you can stand and see seven different states! I would definitely suggest this to someone. I would say it at least takes you a hour and the trails are definitely not as long as they look on the map! I loved going over the swinging bridge as well. I love bridges. There are some pretty tight spots.. so be prepared to suck and squeeze in. I could do this again. I would love to just go to some spots set up lunch and eat there. A good bit of walking, but you do not even need hiking boots, it's more like paths rather than trails. I did not realize this was such a popular tourist spot, there were a lot of foreign people. So it's well known all over! I love going to spots where there are so many different types of people!

If you are looking for something very unique to do, then Rock City is it. We have been there many times, in different seasons, and it is always fun. You can review their web site to see what they have to offer, but just know, it is a very unique and fun place to go. Don't leave the area without doing this! Be careful though, it is not a good place to go if someone can't walk up and down stairs or for a fairly long distance. There is a wheelchair trail, but you would miss so much, that it probably wouldn't be worth it. One final thing, in case anyone from Rock City reads this: We went for the Xmas lights this year and were disappointed in things they no longer did. My child was sooo excited because his favorite thing a couple of Christmases ago was to get Candy Cane seeds from an elf and see various other fun elves throughout Rock City. This time, all they had was an "ice elf" at the entrance and an "ice woman" in the attraction. Bring back more interactive elves throughout the walk.

It great for a bit of exercise. The view is worth the little hike. The kids might like the little fairytale section. The rope bridge was very cool! Don't forget to take your camera! There are some areas in the path that are between two large rocks and they could be tight squeezes for some folks...But if we're ever back in the area, I'd go back to this tourist attraction.

Love this place. Very relaxing, strolling through the gardens and rock features. Beautiful view - great family outing

We as a family, went to Enchanted Garden of Lights. They were not prepared for such a large crowd and even making reservations for our group of 17, we had to stand in line for over an hour to get in and then 30 more minutes after the turn style. The kids were cranky and cold and tired before we got started. Won't go back.

Beautiful experience during the holidays! Really gets you into the spirit of things. Be prepared.... This attraction draws ALOT of people. When it's really crowded you can sometimes feel like either...1- You are waiting for folks to move on so you can view the sites or 2- You feel like you have to rush so that others can view the sites. But it's worth it. Starbucks across the street for something to warm you up.
