The Muottas Muragl is the longest slope for luge....many possibilities to walk; blue, red & black tracks from 45 min up to 3hrs walking tracks. Recommended to go up when its nice & sunny.

This is a must. A train brings you to 2500 meters, even a good trip for people who are scared in the skilifts. Great view on the 3 lakes and St. Moritz. There is a hotel on the top. The food was good. It is better to make a table reservation.

A short drive from town, this mountain is purpose built for sledding. There is a nice restaurant at the top of the mountain offering simple fare and drinks.Remember to get the sleds before getting on the cable car!The fun on the way down is first class. Just take it easy whilst relearning childhood skills as the sleds can go very fast and are tough to stop.

We visited the restaurant for lunch in January this year and the overall result was excellent.Firstly it is the Funicular to the top from Punt Muragl. This ride provides some breathtaking scenery and is all to short for the enjoyment (10 mins). It was a cold but basically sunny day for our visit and despite clouds drifting by, we were provided with more stunning scenery from the hotel balcony. We were also able to walk further up behind the hotel for extra views. We had lunch at a window seat and thoroughly enjoyed it. (Try the Dunkel Beer)All capped off by another scenic ride descending in the Funicular again.

Very nice, sometimes a bit 'steep' hiking course, enlighted with philosphers wisdom ... and this in the midst of the engadine mountains with superb views really to be recommended !

We have spent an amazing day here. The sky was pitch clear and we could see all those amazing views 360 degrees! My little one loved to play in the playground there, she had lots of fun! The sun was quite hot, about 37 degrees in middle June, and God, it was burning up there.. had to put lots of sun lotion and afterwards went for a coffee and great cakes at the restaurant there. We did struggle for a seat and in the end we had our coffee inside, but I was glad as the sun was so very hot for me. We really enjoyed our day at Muottas Muragl and thanks to the reviewers here on TA that convinced me to travel up from Como to St. Moritz by car. It was quite a journey but ohh so lovely!

We were lucky to visit on a spectacular day with blue skies and sun. The views from the top were lovely - a full 180 degrees of Alps. Best part, in my opinion, is that there were activities that a non skier could enjoy. There were lots of trails at the top to hike, a huge patio to sit on, sun chairs overlooking the mountains, and a 4.2 km toboggan run. Having never gone tobogganing, I was excited to try this and was not disappointed. The resort claims the run is the safest in Switzerland, but be warned that you need some skill to get down the hill. As a novice, I didn't know how to stop myself and had a big wreck near the top of the hill. I was not hurt as the soft snow thwarted my spill. That said, after a little practice I was able to navigate the turns adequately and successfully made three runs down the mountain. I would definitely recommend this activity for families with teenagers as there were many on the run thoroughly enjoying themselves!

This is one place you should not miss out. The trip with the little train up the mountain is a wonderful experience as while you gain height you have a wonderful view all over the Engadin valley. The restaurant has been refurbished an is done with a lot of taste. Make sure you reserve a table at the window. The food is delicious and the service is good. The only draw back is that one has to catch the last train going down. But one can always get a room at the Hotel.

Going up the mountain in the furniculaire is not cheap but quite an experience. The views from up the mountain are fantastic and there is plenty of walks. You can also walk down the mountain via various routes.

One of the beautiful spots to look over the amazing Engadine Valley you can see all 3 lakes on a clear day beded in a beautiful mountain setting

Stunning views of the mountains and the valley, makes fantastic trip in a clear day. Easily reached by funicular from the train station, or you can go on foot, hiking paths are plentiful and well maintained.

The cog-rail trip is fun! It was very cold and windy. Overcast with sunbreaks. There were many locals having Sunday brunch in the restaurant

We had nice weather so the autumn colours were amazing. The route up to the mountain was an experience itself.

An easy bus ride from Pontresina to Punt Muragl bus stop and station and then rode the funicular up to the top.Follow those wonderful yellow signs to find any path - we hiked the Panoramaweg and were able to overlook all the way to St Moritz and lake. Clear and cold (frosty) in the morning but warmed up nicely at end of September. 3 hours hiking with fall flowers, tall trees and endless green. Ended up at Alp Languard with ski lift back down to Pontresina.
