Once you’ve been there you will never forget this place. It is just a stunning what mother nature could do. If you are a fit person for stairs and upside downs and not a photographer by any means it will take about 2h walk otherwise (what will mostly happen) it is worth to take sandwiches and a bottle of water or a thermos of tea to your preference to fully enjoy this place. It’s beauty of rocks by all means. I have visited this place in winter and to my taste it was more amazing then it is in summer, because tree leaves do not obscure the view of rocks and it was not very busy. I would highly recommend it once you are in the Polish-Czech Area Mountains. In Winter months: Food is not available to buy. Toilet is open and clean you can find outside before entering the whole area and it is free of charge. Because of proximity to Polish border it is possible to pay in Polish currency (zloty).

This was worth going and seeing. Wear walking shoes so that you can enjoy all there is to see. The height and shapes of the rocks are really a natural wonder. You are surrounded with imaginations of what is seen in the shape or position of the rocks..brochures available in several languages

adrspach rock town - beautiful area (5 stars). however there are no restrooms once you get through the ticket office. therefore people must use the bushes along the tails - watch where you step and hold your breath.

It's amazing there, as its the whole Adrspach area. Go there if you like beautiful rocks and nature, don't go there if you don't like crowds. During summer there are thousands of tourists and no parking spaces. It's better to go there in winter. With snow the rocks are even more amazing and without crowded trails.

The area offers primarily two touristic circle routes from either Adrspach or Teplice. It is worth getting off the main touristic routes and explore the Vlci rokle canyon connecting Adrspach and Teplice or taking the green tourist route from Teplice to Skaly via Kravi hora and Cap (no other tourists and real wilderness).

When visiting Czech Republic don't miss Adrspach Rock Town. The creatures of the nature are breathtaking. Moreover it is a place where you can spend all day with family and even with your dog. Good shoes neccesary :-)

Best to devote one day to each of these parks, to do both in one day is theoretically possible but taking your time is advisable to appreciate what is there.Admission is the same for both, and does not cover both parks which have dedicated entrance gates. The pathways and stairs are tricky when wet due to slippery sand, the treads often slope downwards, so care is needed. One section of the tour route is a 10 metre long narrow cleft maximum 50cm wide, so "larger" people will not pass through!Smoking is forbidden in the parks, but some people can't read the prominent notices. Another distraction were noisy children and teens sometimes in large groups, which spoilt the peace and tranquillity quite often for us.The boat trip in Ardšpach is worth doing for an extra 50Czk, and the boatman has an amusing commentary (only in Czech of course) as he punts the craft along the small lake.Entrance gates are not locked in the evenings, so you can leave whenever, but this is not a place to wander around in darkness!

rock formations like this you expect to see in the grand canyon, not in the middle of the czech republic! bizarre rock formations with names such as "the sugar cone" "the lovers" "the glove" etc.. waterfalls, 2 small lakes, deep woods & spectacular view from the top of the rooks!its easily reachable from prague. 2.5 hours by car (use "waze") and 3 hours by train.can be a day tour from prague but it is recommended for a 2-3 days stay. many more atractions and activities in the area: bike routs, walking routs, historical sights & more.the route take about 3-4 hours. easy walk on a marked trail. part of it even accessible for wheelchairs.it is also a climbing site, but i dont know if you need an official permission.another part of the park is in teplice,5 km to the south. if you come for more than one day its also a recommended trail.a place you must visit when in czech republic!!!

This park is divided into two sections. Adrspach is by far the more popular and with good reason. There is a good quality path that loops around several dozen amazing rock features. You can get an English brochure when you buy your ticket which outlines the major features. The way some of them appear such as the upside down sugar cone is quite amazing. Others such as the Mayor and Mayoress are quite visually spectacular. The circuit does involve some climbing to take in some of the regional views but there is a short cut track just past the Lovers feature which skips the steepest sections. From here you can take a short boat tour on the lake or take the connecting track to the Teplice end of the park. Teplice is less popular and much more rugged with fewer features and they are more overgrown. It is a lot more effort to take in the features at Teplice. Castle Strmen is an incredibly steep climb featuring steps and ladders but the views on the top are outstanding. Both sights have good car parks and a range of small souvenir stores and eateries. Note that bathroom facilities are only available at the entrances. Once you enter the park you are on your own.If you only have time to do part of the park Adrspach is the pick.

The trails are well-maintained; they can be strenuous at times only from the stair-climbing involved, but never dangerous or challenging. The rock towers and views are spectacular. Lots of fast food and sit-down eating options, souvenir stores, etc. The whole family really enjoyed this day.

It's very unique rock town in which you can spend all day. Deep ravines, bizarre rock formations, waterfall and boating on the lake.In village Adrspach is castle (architecturally not very interesting) with climbing exposure. If you have more time, you can visit the nearby hill Křížový vrch with stations of the cross placed into the rock. From the top is wiew of rock city and Krkonoše mountains

Great place to cool down in hot summer. Perfect place for hike in local woods, swim in damm andthe sendstone town apsolutly staning.

This place is very unique in the Czech republic. If you are hiker, you can enjoy nice hikes around and or through rocks cities with so nice towers and nature sculptures and shapes. If you are a biker you can enjoy one of the hardest MTB competition trail, which is marked whole year round (see for the blue triangle on the yellow background). And finally if you are climber, this place is the hardest free climbing area. Long towers, morale climbing, extreme fear and beautiful overlooks. You can climb in Teplice nad Metuji, Adrspach, Ostas, Broumovske steny and bouldering area Bor.

This is a place where you can spend a whole day. It is a very easy accessible place. You will walk around a huge and high rocks, climb on some of them, and go through narrow passages. You can also take a boat cruise on small lake. I propose it for everybody who like a nature. Very close to the main entrance there is a big car parking (paid).

Interesting rock formations and beautiful lake encurage to visit Adrspach. Paths are designed for adults and for children. For sure you will be impressed of recognizing depict various boulders. Along the way we can enjoy small waterfall, located in a cave. The most interesing attraction is boat trip. Captain entertains us telling interesting stories and shows different figures in the water and on the small silets. Adrspach offers beautiful views and interesting way of spending time.
