"La Bollente" or following the right translation ''The Boiling'' the top attraction in the city, the pride of Acqui Terme spa is a fountain located in the heart of the old town, I went one afternoon and I could see it up close. The water of the fountain flows out directly to a temperature above 65-70 C degrees, this means that it is hot to the touch and the risk of burning is high, also a slight smoke comes out of the fountain. Place frequented by many tourists, many of whom are going to drink warm water, I think it has a pretty rotten taste, but it is said to do well.

in the very centre of Acqui... awesome to see this boiling water available anytime to anyone. What a touch for Acqui Center!! There should be video surveillance around though.. saw lots of nasty youth around the center....!!

In a quite nice square we have this very nice fountain with Termal water directly flowing from the earth. It is a sulphuric water and it it a constant 74,5 celsius degree: be carefull.... It burns.It is great to breath the vapor of the water of this fountain as probably the Romans were already doing a couple of thousands years ago.

It's especially great to walk through the square at night, with the lighting and the visible steam rising from the spring.

Absolutely something you cant miss!!! hotspring water coming out at 70 degrees!!!!! a very smelly ( but very good for your health) sort of smoke that you shoud inhale for at least 5 mins and a very hot water that you can drink and its sgsin very good for your health ( the smell its like rotten eggs so its not that easy to drink)

We spend one very romantic evening at one of the restaurants at the piazza. Actually it was just a winebar but they served free tapas to their live music. It made the place full of italians and made such a nice atmosphere. Place to get a dinner if you go to acqui terme

This fountain is a meeting point for young and old, tourists and locals. During the day the tourists bring a bottle to get some of the hot water. In the night locals gather around the fountain and enjoy the night and sometimes the live music of the restaurants around the square.

Great place to visit in Acqui Terme, good vibrant atmosphere especially on a night.There are some great bars and restaurants, well worth a visit.

We visited this attraction often during our stay in Acqui Terme this past summer and found it to be un-touristy and very congenial. It is the sort of place one never forgets, because of its timeless unique existence. Beyond any old buildings, cathedrals, monuments....anything man has ever created, this water has gushed from the earth, with its warm steam and healthy attributes. How can one not respect that? We found the people there warm, friendly and helpful. Not your typical Tourist Trap at all. We love it :-)

Che bello per chi soffre di sinusite solo restare un pochino a respirare è un sollievo.. Acqui è davvero una bella sorpresa... meriterebbe maggior turismo

Splendida fontana nel centro di Acqui Terme. Situata in una piazzetta circolare.Sempre affollata di turisti e abitanti di Acqui che possono bere direttamente dalla fonte di acqua solforosa (utile e curativa per molte patologie).

Bella piazzetta in quel di acqui terme. Piazza conosciuta per la sorgente naturale di Acqua termale.. Se si viene un week end qui non si può passare da questa piazzetta :)

Bellissima fontana....affascinante e impressionante....pensare che dal sottosuolo della terra arriva in superficie una massa di acqua così è fantastico!!!

Si tratta di un monumento del tutto particolare.. la sua peculiarità è il fatto che dalla fonte solforosa sgorghi acqua calda (70-75 gradi), con il curioso effetto dei fumi dell'evaporazione (che si nota soprattutto con la bassa temperatura esterna)

Si tratta di una fontana termale da cui esce acqua sulfurea ad oltre 70 gradi, per provarla procuratevi un bicchierino perchè con le mani è impossibile.... l'odore è forte e anche il sapore no scherza....
