It's a steady climb to the top and once you are there you just want to take a deep breath and take it all in!! That's exactly what we did. Take a secret dive in and get revived. However, the pools are best for that. This is an amazing place and a must so if you are in Bulgaria.

Take the ten minute detour off the main road between Lovech and Levski to visit these quite beautiful waterfalls. Even in the quite bleak February weather these falls are well worth a visit.

It is highly recommended to visit the falls. We had a great day, travelling at first, than walking to and along the falls, admiring the magic color of the water.

Extremely picturesque waterfall and a must see if you are in the area. It is a 1km hike or so from the carpark to the waterfall, so 2km round trip. But it is worth the hike. The only thing I didn't like is the lack of English signs. I still can't understand how a marketed tourist attraction has only the native language for signs and information. I don't expect 17 different languages but at least English! There is only one board near the entrance which has a map with both Bulgarian and English. Past that board everything is in Bulgarian only so it helps to know that vodopad means waterfall. Many of the other warnings and signs attached to trees I have no clue what they meant!

Although situated on a small river ( or rather a stream), the Krushuna waterfalls are not to be missed. They are small but their charm lies in the surrounding area with trees, bushes and lush vegetation...Just before the falls there is a whole tourist complex with barbecues, stalls etc. but it is somewhat away from them and does not spoil their beauty.Attention: the paths around the falls are wet and slippery even in hot weather. The fee is 2 levs.

Great scenery. The only thing I hated about the place was the restaurants located before the route to the waterfall - they were barbecuing outside and it is impossible to go to the waterfalls without absorbing the smell of barbecue in your clothes and hair.

Only able to visit the "Green Rock" as the rest of the waterfall was closed for making a feature film (it is a popular location for this - check before going). Expect long walks through some rough uphill tracks to get there but well worth the effort. The adventurous can climb the green rock and bath in the waterfall (my daughter managed this)

This small eco-trail will amaze you. The sights force you to stop and admire. Krushuna waterfalls are a natural water travertine cascade. Along the river has many thresholds. The largest waterfall descends from about 20 m. You will cross the 15 wooden bridges so you can see the falls in all their beauty. Full tour for about 1:30 h. The water is colored bright blue-green. This is due to the dissolved travertine inside. This is a type of limestone that exudes blue color in the water. A few months ago at the beginning of the path discovered mineral water swimming pool (entrance € 2).I do not recommend visiting waterfalls weekend. This wonderful place has one drawback - in the heart of nature there is a restaurant! We visited the falls on Saturday when the restaurant had a gypsy wedding. High decibels of disgusting ‘chalga’ music deafened our walk all the time.

If you go through Lovech Bulgaria, find time to visit this wonder of nature. Amazing. Located about 25 km from Lovech - village Kroshuna. There is parking for cars. Then walk on foot. The price for an adult is 3 lev / 1.5 euros /. Required climb to the top, there is the beautiful. Before the park has several restaurants. What you need: camera and video camera, comfortable shoes and good company.

This was one of the highlights of our road trip in Bulgaria. Stunning natural scenery, the waterfalls and caves are absolutely incredible. Perfect to provide a calming atmosphere whilst soaking up some of the amazing views the trail has to offer. There are lots of steps....but they're well worth the climb!

It is an amazing place. You can climb next to the waterfall and when you are up you can take a look at the beautiful caves on top of the mountain where the river flows. I haven't been very far in the biggest cave there, but I saw guys bringing a small rubber boat with them. I was then about 100 yards inside and they were starting their boat trip on another 100 yards far from me. If you go there you will want to come back and see what you haven't. There are no luxury restaurants or hotels, only nature ;)

It's a wonderful walk in nature. It doesn't take a lot of time, it depends how often you stop to take pictures, because there are a lot of people and you have to wait in order to get good photos without tourists. The waterfalls are gorgeous, there are also caves, which you can visit with a guide during a certain time of the year.

I’ve been there twice. It’s like in the fairy tales I would say - magical. During the weekend is very busy, the waterfalls became very popular for the past few years, so I would suggest if you go during the week. When we went during the week there were only 4 cars on the parking. It was very quiet and peaceful walk to the waterfalls. Take hiking shoes or sneakers, since there are some challenging spots and also some steep stairs. Overall not a long walk, but may be tough for younger kids. Really great place to visit. They are not huge waterfalls, but they are really charming and great for pictures. You can stay as long as you want. There was food right after the parking lot and it was not expensive. The length of your visit is up to you! Not far from there is Devetashka Cave, not to be missed also!

These falls were a real surprise and an enchanting experience. Be sure to wear some decent shoes for walking and climbing, because the cascades goes a long way up; and take your camera! Every stage has its own charm, and the paths curl along the falls so you can admire it from different angles. At some points you can almost touch the water. The main falls are straight ahead after you enter, but there's a smaller one on a path to the right, which is also very charming: you can watch is from above and below, and halfway you can reach the falling water. The best time to visit is on a sunny day after the rain (as you can expect with waterfalls).

This is a place which everybody must see! The waterfalls and the nature around are incredible! There are no words to explain!
