Hi Aimee,Thanks so much for returning to our science centre with your kids. We're so glad your son and daughter loved their visit. Thanks for your feedback regarding our workshops and shows the day of your visit. We'll look into how we can time our programs better in the future. Some things like our beaver feeding, happen later in the day because of health reasons for our animals. Our beaver eats twice a day - first thing in the morning and right before we close each day. This helps space his meals and any medication he may need apart appropriately.I hope you'll come back and enjoy some great science with us again soon.

Thanks very much for the recommendation to not pass us by! Our IMAX theatre makes for a great giant screen viewing experience and is the only one of its kind here in Northern Ontario. Thanks for mentioning our proximity to the boardwalk. It is one of my favourite things about our site too - no matter the season!

Glad to know that you keep coming back! Did you know that last year we celebrated Science North's 30th anniversary?? We are always trying to keep things fresh with new experiences to cater to our repeat visitors. If you'd like to offer any ideas or suggestions to how we can better accomplish this, please let us know at radey@sciencenorth.ca

Thanks so much for taking the time to provide this review. It's awesome that you were able to enjoy your first (and hopefully not last) visit with us! Please allow me to comment on our animal ambassadors with some information that should help ease your concern for their welfare. All of the animals at Science North live here because they cannot survive in the wild. We absolutely never remove any animals from the wild and only keep animals that otherwise could not survive.Take our porcupine, Quillan, for example. He was brought to Science North and put under our care after he was orphaned at just a few days old. He was bottle fed and raised here. Some animals such as Quillan are not candidates for reintroduction into the wild after they have been raised by humans, since they become too accustomed to human interaction and lose their fear of humans and often other hazards like cars and predators as well. Unfortunately when an animal rehabilitation facility is not able to reintroduce an injured or orphaned animal into the wild, they often have to euthanize the animal. It is in these cases where a facility like ours offers another option for that animal to live a full life under our care. I hope this information is helpful. If you would like to further share any concerns or seek more information about the animals in our care, please get in touch with me at radey@sciencenorth.ca

Glad to hear you found fun for everyone. Thanks for mentioning that with the purchase of a membership you get free admission to Science North and Dynamic Earth for a year. Membership, however, includes a whole host of other benefits. We even have different categories in an effort to meet a diversity of member needs. We love our members!

To do lists with Science North on them make me happy. We're glad to know you keep coming back year after year and have urged others to do the same. Thanks for seeing the value and wonder in all the science experiences we offer.

Science North is just one of the awesome things to do with family and friends visiting Sudbury. It's always fun for our Bluecoats to run into those who are showing off what we are fortunate enough to have in our own backyard. Hope to see you next time!
