The Soul Lounge is a nice place to hangout on weekends. Nicely located in the Palms Mall in Lekki (with onsite parking), it's nightclub regularly plays old school music. A lively (sometimes a bit young-ish) crowd make the atmosphere at Soul Lounge quite pleasant. Nice

I had only been to Soul Lounge sporadically in the past and found it to be upbeat and fun with a mix of the younger & older crowd. The service can be a bit slow when the place is in full swing though, so, be prepared. But their food & drinks are nice and the waiters quite friendly. The owners can also always be seen mingling with the crowd. But after I was dragged along to the place by a friend to attend some event, I am now a regular!Dj Schulzz of Classic FM, Lagos, hangs out here on the 1st Thursday of every month. It's a fun time, with games focused on...yes, music! Guess the artiste, complete the lyrics, Tell the artiste and the song title and sometimes guests are really challenged when they are asked to name the original artiste or the album!A fantabulously fun time is had by all. I have made it a regular monthly affair.

What a place if you love old skool soul!!!!! My new husband and I went on a Saturday night but ate at the KFC in the palms mall first (lined our stomach) and then went to the upper outdoor lounge area of the club after to have a drink and take in the night life before the club started. The club which is on the lower ground kicks off at around 10:00 pm - 11:00 pm and when it gets started it doesn't stop unless you want it to; not stop soul grooves. The club itself is very swanky and intimate with many screens on the walls showing old episodes of "Soul Train" and the current song that is playing (pinched from youtube no doubt). My husband and I love to dance and we did danced, from the moment we got there at 11:00 pm until 03:00 pm when we left and had one of the best nights out we have ever had in 5 years of being together. As well as taking a towel with you (for the sweat) take a lot of money as the drinks are very pricey, a bottle of Heiniken Larger is about N1,900 which is £6:97, $11.77 or 8.55 Euro, I had a bottle of red wine and my husband had about 3 Heiniken's and our total for the night came to about N17,000, which included our pre-dance glass of wine and bottle of larger at the upper outdoor lounge area. The crowd that go there love to dance and party, so if thats your thing I promise you that you will throughly enjoy it.
