Location might be hard to find, but when you do, it's a fun place to visit. They sell beer there, but the samples are free where you can sample 3 different beers a day. This brewery makes the infamous Moose Drool beer and it's quite tasty and refreshing. Thay also have shirts and other things to buy.

I missed this tasting room the last time I was in Missoula, so I made sure I made it here on my recent trip. Had to try Moose Drool and it didn't disappoint. The tasting room is nice and clean, with a pleasant atmosphere, and full of Big Sky merchandise. The staff were helpful and friendly.

You can fill your growlers and get 4 free beer samples, which probably equal a pint of beer in the end. They have lots of merchandise for sale, nice atmosphere and building overall. Upstairs has some views of the vats and a quiet place to sit. You can sit downstairs and hang out while you enjoy your samples.

So not too much to complain about when you get free 4 tastings of beer, but no AC made it pretty uncomfortable in the taproom. Plenty of shirts, hats etc to buy. The servers are super nice and the beer is super great!

You can tell that this is a local favorite & for a good reason. The atmosphere is vibrant & cool. They offer 4 free tastings of their beer selections. The gift shop has tons of great items that do a great job marketing their brand.

Big Sky Brewing has become a larger brewer. About number 32 in the US I believe. But, it still is small town, excellent beer, great folks working the tap room and prices are very reasonable. Lover the place. And they have a great selection of souvenirs. Great stop.

The Big Sky Brewery is at the far western freeway exit (for the airport) - easy to find. In the afternoon and until closing, they have free samples of their beers (only four, though) and lots and lots of things to buy in their shop. They also sell bottles and cans (love those cans) of their products, but don't have everything in stock. Friendly people and great beer - how can you lose?Upstairs is a photo gallery and you can see the brewing area.

This should be the number 1 stop for any tourist. Big Sky has great beer, wonderful servers, great gifts and tours of the brewery. I live 85 miles from the brewery, and every trip to Missoula includes a stop at the brewery for a free beer and good conversation. Then of course I come home with 3 growlers full of their wonderful draft beer. How could it get any better?!

Stopped by the brewery today. Very clean. Very organized. Friendly staff. And...wait for it... Free beer! 4 samples/day. Loved tasting the local brews. Great experience. Recommend to all!

Nothing beats a cool brew here. Be sure to try the seasonal brew. No place else I know of to get a couple of free beers. Big Sky rocks!

My husband and I dropped in with our 6 month old son and loved this taproom. It's a bit of a drive from downtown Missoula but well worth it. Each person gets 4 free tastes - the Moose Drool was our favourite. The taproom merchandise was great - we even bought 'Brewopoly' a kind of Monopoly for beer-lovers. Great service and a warm, light room.

Friendly staff for a larger craft brewery, complete with recommendations for lunch! Lots of merchandise to browse through while you sample (4 free ones for each customer), as well as some views into the actual brewery.
