Easy to get to -- Eden Park Drive off I-71 and follow the signs, a beautiful place to walk, around the pool, on the hill above the conservatory, up the steps to the Playhouse. The Art Museum is beautiful. The Playhouse in the Park has a diverse variety of shows upstairs and down. The Conservatory now has an entry fee, but is worth seeing the orchid room, bonsai room, rainforest wing, dessert wing & changing exhibits. Be sure to visit the little park next to the Conservatory where there is an incredible view of the Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
This is the true gem of Cincinnati. This park is just absolutely gorgeous, with a lake, performance stage, the Cincinnati Art Museum, and the conservatory. It is a beautiful place for a picnic, or a location where you can easily spend an entire day exploring!
Spectacular views of riverboat traffic on the Ohio, and the skyline of Northern Kentucky, in a pristine, park, setting. Within walking distance of the Vietnam Memorial, and Kroh Conservatory.
Eden Park is lovely and as a local, is one of the spots where we take out of town friends and family to see Cincinnati. You can do it as an auto tour and not get out your car or take a moment to get out of the car and take a few pictures of the view. The Ohio River is beautiful from this spot and looks out on the historic communities of Northern Kentucky. I suggest driving through the lower overlook at minimum. If you have the time, drive to the upper overlook and follow with a short drive up toward the Cincinnati Art Museum and by Seasongood Pavilion and up into historic Mt Adams. There are also a few trails and if you are a hearty walker, also great to get out of your car and walk through it all. In the Spring blooming season, there are so many beautiful flowers (especially the daffodils and blooming trees) to enjoy. Additionally, the Krohn Conservatory is located in Eden Park has many beautiful plants and have seasonal displays throughout the year (these are always wonderful); right now the December holiday show features botanic architecture - local models of building and bridges made from plants and are nested among many holiday plants.
What a lovely park, over the highway from downtown but acres to walk and run in...museums, lakes, and a view of the city...Only shame was that the illuminated ballon fest was cancelled
A great park to walk and look around. Some of the best views in Cincinnati. We took a hike in the creek which was short but fun.
You simply must visit the Kroehn (spelling ?) Conservatory Great seasonal/ plant/ greenhouse../ orchids,..desert room...ahhh I can breathe! Tropical year round and a Christmas display that's overwhelming. GO THERE!!! JL
Unfortunately it was cancelled!!! The park was nice and we knew it could be cancelled to to wind.......but no one posted anything anywhere telling preppie it wasn't going to happen! A few signs might have been nice! So everyone was wandering around trying to figure out if they came to the right place.
Every time I visit the Greater Cincinnati area, I come here to Eden Park to walk and gaze at the Ohio River below. It is not crowded and there are many very different things to experience. This time we enjoyed walking through the Presidential Woods. We have also visited the Conservatory (I call it the "flower house" and the Art Museum. On other past visits we have gone to plays at the Playhouse in the Park. I would be very careful if I were walking here at night, but I have no idea why one would even think of doing that because it is so beautiful in the daylight!
This is a very nice place to visit if you just want to lounge on the lawn. Not too much to offer. Scenic view of the Ohio River and the beautiful Kentucky.
I visit this park often for the Art Museum, Krohn Flower Conservatory, Playhouse, and to look at the views of the Ohio River. This is must to show out of town visitors.
Nice park to stroll around, parking is free. Nice fountain & green grassy lawn. chill on the chair that got some view river or green surrounding
Awesome little park with a great view. Bring bread to feed the ducks, and a camera if you want to get some great shots with a beautiful background. It gets a little sketchy at night, probably wouldn't go alone after dark.
Eden Park has it all, including a playhouse, art museum and conservatory. There is a fountain and walking paths. The views of the river are outstanding, and particularly on a sunny day.
When the fountain is going, and it's warm out, the whole place is beautiful. Lot's of beautiful views of the cityscape. My only complaint is that some of the attractions are a bit hard to get to.
