We stopped here on the way home to Tennessee. The best park experience yet. It was a bit chilly but walking along the beach was amazing. We drove further in so the beach front was less busy. Hardly anyone was there. Loved collecting shells and starfish that had washed up. I would love to go back.

The beach is great, there are no concessions and it so easy to get around. It really is what Florida must have looked like many years ago in my mind.

My son and I camped here in February. The campground is across the street, from the park, but is clean, and spacious. The rangers who checked us in were very knowledgeable and helpful, they made sure to recommend Big Talbot, different hiking trails, and the Kingsley Plantation area. The beach is beautiful, and not at all crowded. (keep in mind, it was February). We didn't take advantage of the trails, but they looked fun, and we plan on returning with our bikes.

Make sure to visit this place when you are in town, because it has a nice long walk beaches. It has a long built in walk way too, from the parking lot, plus a pavilion where you could eat your carry on lunch before heading to the beach.

Being a landlocked Okie, we love opportunities to explore different places, especially near the water. Little Talbot is great for hiking, shelling, walking on the beach, and looking at the driftwood. Worth the stop. There is a slight fee to access the park. I believe $4/car. But, its worth it.

Miles and miles of beaches are there for the soaking up. Will cost a small nominal fee but well worth it. It's the Atlantic at its best. Bring the kids and whole family!

A small entry fee but once you walk to the shore line it will be all that you expected and more. Name your beach activity and you can do it all here. No animals on the beach like the city parks allow. Just pure nature at its best. Bring the binoculars to watch ships coming and going. Dolphins playing just off shore. Put your baited fish line in the water. You might be surprised when that 4 foot lemon shark checks your arm strength. Sea shell stoop more your style? You will find shells in many shapes and sizes. Even whole sand dollars. Plan to spend the day. Don't forget your sun screen. Even cloudy days will result in a sun burn.

This is by far my favorite beach in the States. Miles and miles of beach with no hotels or commercial buildings. Clean and quiet with driftwood and sea shells. We love it here! It's a walk so we did invest in a rolling cooler last year but it truly is a must see. The campground is amazing with lots of mossy oaks and a bay area for fishing and catching crabs. We also like the Canoe trips that Amelia Canoe offers. Lots of little sand bars and marsh areas.

Rustic, low key, maritime forest. Heaven for birders and those who like uncrowded places right on the shore

This award winning State Park is one of the best in Florida if not the Nation. Miles of unspoiled beach combined with twisting natural waterways for kayaking/canoeing make this a water lovers paradise. Wooded campsites, hiking trails, clean showers and toilets, amazing fishing, and "secret spot" surfing are some of the best features. The staff here are proud of their park and the gold medal status it deserves, they know the history of the area and are very helpful. I have been there on weekdays and hardly seen other people, however like all state parks the camping gets crowded so make proper reservations. Have fun!

This is a wonderful state park. Over the weekend, we hiked the 3.8 mile loop. It starts out wooded, but ends up on the beach. The trail is kept up very well and is quite beautiful. I can't wait to go back!

Great beach area, quiet and very enjoyable. Nice parking area and restrooms. Can rent bicycles, very reasonably. Long bicycle, paved trails.

This is a small Florida state park but has an excellent campground that borders a marsh and a quiet unspoiled beach with lots of shells. It is close enough to Jacksonville for access but very natural. There are not any restaurants close by but that adds to the peacefulness of this park. Campsites range from marsh front to wooded. Very clean facilities.

When I think about beaches, I think of bikinis, cocktails, swimming and parties. But...this beach at Little Talbot is not about that! It is about quietness, tranquility, inner peace...and I love it!In the beginning we didn't expect too much, but after the short trail inside the woods, all of a sudden, this sandy beach appeared! So clean, so original...it has been preserved so well that I almost thought this must look exactly the same as the beginning of the Earth! You have to go and see for yourself!
