royal barges museum

Stopped off on the small tourist train and visited in 45 mins. Nice stop off. The barges are well worth seeing. A good variety of barges (6) to see close up in all their glory. Situated in the park which is also well worth a long stroll in the fall. Will be back for that.

The mueseum was in Garden of Prince. From the palace, it took for 15 min on foot. The museum was very small along a small path, but the gold barges were so great. I could enter the museum by showing the ticket for the palace. I saw peacocks nearby.

Es un museo que está bien y que como ya han comentado otras personas lo mejor que tienen son las barcazas de recreo que se usaban para el Tajo.

Bonita colección de barcazas de recreo de época. También destacar los jardines aledaños al museo y sus monumentos, como la fuente de Narciso.

Lo que nos gusto fue ver esas impresionantes barcazas tan lujosamente ataviadas. Y lo que menos nos gusto, es que algunas partes necesitan restaurarse, y no dejar que sigan deteriorándose. Podrían utilizar parte del dinero de la entrada para ese fin.
