My kids - 4 and 2 enjoyed all the attractions and so did I. Loved it! I think older kids have even more fun there, as they don't get tired so easily and most of the puzzles are meant for older kids, but still my young ones loved it very much :)

It's great place for spend your time with family, where you can teach and play with your child, where every installation create positive emotions. Additionally great story in planetarium, where with new technology create great story for all ages about own Earth and where we live in view from space.

There are a lot of "science" your child (and you also) can touch and discover by playing. If you decide to visit this place with your kids, be prepared to answer a lot of questions like "Why this ball doesn't fall down?", "Why this ball is flying only above this tube?", "Why this bubble came up faster than the previous one?", "Why...".You always can make a break in the cafe "Nuton" or to eat outside - the ticket is valid during the day (not the single enter).Till the end of Winter there is Dinosaurs Exhibition - high quality detailed, "live" models. Definitely, more than 3 hours - we've spent whole day there.

This is a must visit place while in Tartu, because it has some neat and techy things on display as well as regular physics and chemistry experiment shows. Need at least 3 hours to see it through.

Really many varieties of activities and there's nothing like it in elsewhere in Estonia I would also recommend the 4D cinema in Lõunakeskus, also owned by AHHAA

Great for children, but also interesting for adults. Exibition is changed from time to time. Can spend whole day.

We went to visit the Science centre whilst in Tartu. One of the best things about the centre is that it is interactive for children and adults, all the instructions for the objects and activities have a well written English translation and staff around the venue will give you support. There is plenty photo opportunities so don't forget to bring your camera.Avoid the 2nd floor museum area if you're squeamish or easily upset by the biology of babies and embryos. It may be a bit upsetting or disturbing for people of British backgrounds and upbringings as we haven't been brought up with this kind of biology. You have been warned! On a more positive note there is a discount for students visiting the centre and the chemistry experiment show is worth watching but it is not in English. The explosions may make you jump.

We went with a group of teachers and students. The boys were 16-18 years old, and it kept them all entertained for a couple of hours. Some interesting and fun exhibits. Even Mr. Lumsden rode the bike across the high wire above the room. Fun for the whole family!

AHHAA is all about the science in our life. There are a few interesting permanent expositions, but the most interesting part, at least for me, are the different temporary expositions, which are different every time you visit, so you always learn something new. AHHAA also caters well to foreign visitors needs, with almost all information boards doubled in English. The workshops for groups and science theatre shows are a favourite among kids of all ages. I reccomend visiting at least once a year.

Loads of great experiments for children plus lots of interest for adults too. Nice café with a great buffet lunch. A fantastic Dinosaur exhibition from the Natural History Museum, London, showing until May 2015. Great place for rainy days but do go even if the sun shines

Had the opportunity to visit the centre with a couple of colleagues.Very enjoyable, fun and interesting at the same time.Recommended for all ages and glad the information boards are in English as well.

If you have any interest in anything fun, head over to the science museum. I'm 20 and I went with my friend and we absolutely enjoyed the 2.5 hour time we had there! I would dare venture in claiming this science center is better than Boston's Museum of Science.
