We went when everything was a little dead, but it was a beautfiul park. Great for families, walkers, short breaks, or games.

Luckily it was on my way from the hotel to the office so I could walk through every morning. Part formal garden, part overgrown and wild, but a popular spot and a relaxing walk.

The gardens are well maintained. So much so, they replant a section of the garden every day with the date. Very nice spot to relax in the city. Once you are relaxed you'll be ready for shopping on Via Etna.

In the heart of Via Etna, these manicured gardens have an imposing tree lined entrance. Within the gardens there is a fountain and many beautiful vistas. The gardens are an attractive place to eat a picnic in the heart of the city. Two beautiful pattiserie shops sit at the gardens entrance. Free to all.

A very well kept garden in the heart of Catania which provides relaxation and venue for nice walks, without hustle and bustle. On the main shopping street of Via Etnea. Mouth-watering cafes and restaurantsa opposite main entrance.

Huge park with a lot of things to see and do and enjoy. And when the weather is beautiful, I guarantee you a good quality time spent there.

Very nice garden and with the excellent weather we found this December in Catania, made a wonderful experience to explore on of the largest gardens of Europe.

Catania is not a very attractive city and the Giardino is a nice haven away from the dirt, caos and crime. The park is well maintained and gardens are very attractive with plenty of shade from the trees.Stop and have a gelato nearby.

if you are visiting Catania and its monuments, it would be a better choice to walk along the streets. Then The Villa Bellini is a very good place for relaxing and walking far from the traffic.

This was a very attractive park in the centre of Catania with a number of excellent play areas for the children.

It's surprisingly underestimated from the people of Catania, maybe because it had works going on for a while and a big section has been closed. Now it's almost fully functional and it's a great place. A peaceful walk in the shade of the trees with your girlfriend, a stroll with your dog, a photowalk for the enthusiasts, a playground with your kids... it covers it all, and it's right in the middle of the city! What more could you want? Some events maybe

Attractive gardens with fountain and the date picked out in plants. Used at night as well for people just to sit and relax. Plenty of seats at the various levels and sections. There is a small cafe in the gardens with outside seating. There is a children's playground and outdoor gym equipment under a huge tree.

There is not a lot of parkland area in Catania, this park is well maintained and worth a walk around. Every day the date is displayed using local plants, visible when you drive past..

We went looking for the park whilst walking around Catania. The park is very clean and was full of local youths who were friendly and not causing any trouble. There are plenty of areas to sit and chill and people watch and to get out of the mid-day sun, well worth a visit if you're in the city.
