大教堂广场

下了车站,走到知名的比萨斜塔,进入城门映入眼前的是一大片的青翠草地与蓝天,大理石与石灰石砌成的大教堂与比萨斜塔在阳光的照射下,闪耀着刺眼的光芒,走近一看,原来比萨斜塔还真的是有点巨大,歪著头欣赏它,其实斜塔与教堂连成一片倒是不会太突兀~~

义大利必逛景点之一浪漫景点 ~比萨斜塔是世界建筑史上的一大奇迹由于塔身压力过重和地质松软，南面的地基比北面约低2 米。在施工期间塔身既出现轻微倾斜，随着工程的进度，倾斜度不断增加。到塔身建到第三层时，可明显看出倾斜，曾一度停工。一百多年以后，经工程师托马索·皮萨诺精心测量和计算，证明比萨斜塔虽倾斜，但不会倒塌，使工程继续按原设计继续施工，直到竣工

外观非常震撼，白色大理石和彩绘雕塑构成了一座色彩艳丽的积木房子，是佛罗伦萨人气最旺的景点。一定要在这里登顶，可以俯瞰整座老城。内部比起圣彼得大教堂等要逊色多了，看来都把财力物力放在外表了。

是佛罗伦萨人最多的广场之一。大教堂正面、洗礼堂和钟楼之间，总是有很多游客来来往往。大教堂侧面和后面人不算多，在这个角度才可以好好享受大教堂外面的装饰。

意大利的三大教堂之一，圣母百花大教堂。其外观异常的壮美华丽，但内饰却乏善可陈，据说是因为当年预算全都用在了外墙的华美，而无力在内饰上投入。

This is the heart of Florence. Great shops and restaurants, but as the summer approaches the danger of pickpockets increases. Just be prudent. The area around the Duomo is one of the most beautiful sections of the city.

The heart of Florence, the Plazza del Dumo is a wonderful place to wander and marvel at the beautiful stone work on the Baptistry walls. The cleaning / restoration means the marble shines and the intricate patterns are amazing. Queues as for many sites in Florence can be long, we did not climb the Cupola - a reason to return to this beautiful city.

It's great to be there but it is tiresome to have umbrellas thrust at you (despite that I was carrying my own... Did I want another one? No) Firenze is such an amazing place, so evocative.

This building structures detail is beyond words. Each time you walk by you will notice something new. The streets are very busy and filled with vendors, I do warn against gypsies (yes, there are actually gypsies) and you need to avoid or they will follow you and try to have you give them money. I also warn against pick pocketing. This is not the only city in the world with these issues and I wouldn't let it keep you from visiting this amazing city

This was my second time Florence, and am still in love with the Piazza. It's a must visit if you're in Florence. TIP- if you're hungry, wander a few streets away and you're not only better Italian food, but at cheaper prices, too!

Even with the Baptistry being shrouded for renovation this is still one of the best buildings in the world to see. It is breathtaking in its beauty. We did not have time to go up to the cupola to view the city but will do next time. It is wort going to Florence just to stt this building up close.

Ideally walk into the city centre at night. then Yeats's words come to mind, 'a starlit or a moonlit dome disdains all that man is, all mere complexities, the fury and the mire of human veins'.

The Piazza around the Duomo is beautiful, one of the best parts of our visit. The sheer size of the cathedral is breathtaking. Make sure to visit the piazza, it's right in the middle of the city and worth making an effort to see.

stunning building which dominates the city skyline. not open sunday am but every other day. huge cues so worth buying ticket in advance.

For 10 Euros you just got an amazing time. After 30 minutes of climbing you reach to the top of the dome. You really have a nice view from top. All the city is under your feet. Just be careful while you are filming because mostly there is strong wind. I would definitely recommend.
