It's a great place to eat! It has many restaurants and it covers every taste! You can find whatever you want.

From its seedy history to the excellent restaurant and entertainment sector of Thessaloniki the Ladadika is the place to go for great local food and entertainment. There are some tourist traps but overall you can tell the good staff and there is plenty. If you have the time sample around as there are many gems in the cramped streets.

Very nice, vibrant and colourfull area. Its old part of the town with small houses which are transformed in bars and restaurants. Its very live in weekends. Overall athmosphere is completly different from other parts of Thessaloniki. Restaurant Paparouna is very interesting with good prices. Reccomendation!

This area of Thessaloniki is excellent to visit for its picturesque, colorful houses (which are all restaurants, bars or clubs), the great food from any cuisine (mostly, of course, Greek) the friendly prices and the fun atmoshere

Ladadika is a must see of this beautiful city. It us the old area consisting of two small plazas surrounded by restaurants with live Greek music (traditional bouzouki), tavernas and cafes. Ladadika is mostly for eating and trying the traditional Greek traditional food in good prices. Its nice to wander in foot but cars can cine in as well to your doorsteps if you stay in the Bristol hotel or in Colors Ladadika Central which are facing one another in Ladadika first plaza. There is another hotel in the 2 and plaza which is called Plaza Hotel. I recommend to stay in Ladadika to enjoy its atmosphere at night and to be close to your hotel so you can stay late in one if those restaurants and tavernas especially in weekends.

food! drinks! small alleys with old houses transformed into bars and restaurants! one of the few no smoking restaurants in town (tavenrs we call them, small ones with many orderves ) is there, it is called "full tou meze"! paradise for me! can not stand cigarette smoke! also go to Albeta! it is in the entrance of Ladadika from Freedom square and it is like a bakery that also serves coffee!

I stayed in near by hotel and Ladadika was my first choise to have a good food. There are many restaurants where you can get excellent food for a very reasonable price.

Some 10-12 yers ago Ladadika (Greek for the olive oil market) was a bustle with restaurants and bars but how the crisis has changed this. While some good restaurants and bars still exist, the tourists have gove, many bars closed and an overall gloomy feeling now permeates what was once a so lively social area in Thessaloniki.May better times come.

This is a trendy area full of eateries and coffee shops. We had a wonderful meal at Negroponte and were greatly entertained by a band in the street afterwards.

Very nice and picturesque neighborhood with interesting history and a nice nighlife. However, it can be a little dangerous walking in there late at night.

Excellent restaurants and mezés, pubs, bars and discos! Plenty of animation and good food and drinks. Lots of people, locals and tourists.

it is a very picturesque area, especially at night when a lot of youg people go out. it is full of life. it is a nice place to go out for a dinner, the restaurants are very good antd at good price

A wonderful area were to have fun or drink something or eat at a honest price! Simply delicious. Full of people in every moment of the afternoon or of the night, plus very very nice also architecturally. Definetely to be advised!

I loved Thessaloniki with its authentic squares, tavernas and coffee-shops, however I was disappoionted with the well-known Ladadika with is a small area full with restaurants and bars which are all very touristic in their decor and menus.
