When you pay your entrance fee you visit the whole site - the amphitheatre is part off it. The Park became a world Heritage Site in 1980.It is 2nd century and is made out of limestone blocks. During the summer months there are musical and theatrical performances. As with the whole site remember to carry water and have some protection from the sun

Very good acoustics! I jest. Very good display of the whole site and well presented. Take plenty of water with you.

Charming walk with the lighthouse nearby the amphitheatre and other ruins. Good walk by the coast too. Recommended.

Close to the harbour this site contains mainly Roman and some Classical Greek ruins. The site is kept well and is very extensive. The Roman amphitheater is particularly impressive and the mosaics are elaborate and illustrate the advanced skills of the Greek and Roman civilisations. Information is displayed in Greek and in English. There is also a crusader castle as part of the site but was only occupied for a short time due to being destroyed in an earthquake. The modern city of Pathos is nearby with other notable areas of interest including the spot that St Paul landed. Overall if you like history you will love this site.

I can't understand why this is listed as a seperate attraction personally. It's part of the Paphos Archiological Park which is also reviewed separately and contains many of the locations listed for Paphos on Tripadvisor. You don't visit the Park just to see this particular ruin you visit to see them all. The park as a whole is 5* this item is OK but not the biggest or best preserved I have visited so gets the rating I have given.

It's breathtaking to see but does get hot in peak sun. It worth going see and there's loads to see, worth the money

The amphitheatre is a must to visit as it is great condition considering the age that it is. The way that it was built considering the tools that they had years ago is breathtaking. Sitting in it makes you really think about what it like in they days.

this an amazing piece of historical architecture. the amount of history is awesome, as is the acoustic engineering they were capable of.

right on our doorstep in a fabulous location. Stunning setting. Usually great music and not too expensive. Could increase the toilet facilities as there is only one ladies loo!

Loved the whole experience and the fact that you can see from wherever you sit and have a drink while enjoying the show

Worth a short hike to find this place. quite amazing examples of rock dwellings and good general archaeology. There is no charge to visit, and it's not too far from the harbour area. Make sure you go inside the rock dwellings for best appreciation of the place.

We passed through the Amphitheatre as part of our visit to Paphos Harbour. Very Impressive although nothing on that day to see

part of Paphos Archaeological Park. A largely reconstructed Odeon or theatre (not an amphitheatre which would be round like the colosseum) used for music productions. Nice to see but nothing much original about it. Avoid the middle of the day as it is staggeringly hot with no shade in sight.

very very hot and interesting very reasonably priced and there is a shop so you can get a drink make sure you wear the right shoes for exploring

Most of your writers seem to have confused the totally rebuilt Odeion in the Archaeological Park with an amphitheatre. There is a huge difference. The rebuilding of the Odeion detracts from this otherwise interesting site, though the revenue from concerts may help to preserve it.Your more few persistent, and knowledgeable, writers rightly left the side of the Park via the unsigned turnstyle gate, crossed the main road to Paphos, walked the unsigned side roads, climbed a fence and found the Greek theatre, which has been mostly cleared for presentation. Check the satellite view to find the way to go. Above it lie some caves in a quarry wherein lived/worked the Cypriots of old.
