Certainly the best city view! Is not so easy to get there, you have to go up a hill and walk for 30 or 40 minutes but I can ensure that worth the effort and you can enjoy the rest of the park around.

the climb was worth it. the view was excellent. i dont mind doing this for 100x again. cardio exercise at its best!

the minutes of climb was all worth it because of the awesome view. it was a bit crowded when we came because there were lots of tourist that came on the same timing we went. however the fun was not less anyway. we will definitely do this again if we're given the chance.

Good hiking spot and a great place to escape from the bustling city, plus it has an amazing view of the city. If you are lucky you can see monkeys and other wildlife.

Will keep it short and sweet. What an amazing place to visit and escape the hustle and bustle of Sao Paulo. The views of the Sao Paulo are fantastic and well worth the trek up, its such a peaceful and relaxing place to visit especially after a couple of hectic days in the city. Only downside is it is only open on weekends, but it worth the wait for saturday or sunday to come along and make sure you take some food and drink with you. A must visit place while in Sao Paulo

Last week we visited parque estadual da cantareira. The weather was nice and we really enjoyed the calm and nice surrounding and beautiful view over SP. We even saw a monkey family pass by in the tree tops. That was a bit unsurreal so close te Sao Paulo. We now only visited the paved road from the main entrance to the Pedra Grande and the lake, but want to go back soon to also visit the more offroad trails. We can strongly recommend this parque!

I went there many times. I suggest you go there by a road at the back of the mountain, it´s easier and faster. You may wanna go by trekking but it´s very hard and tiresome. Anyway it´s not dangerous. On top of it you´ll find some people and some of them jumping by paraglide. It´s a breathtaking view, completely worthwhile. It´s around 1000 meters above sea level, you won´t hear noisies and there are no facilities also. Be aware not to go in rainy days, because lightning are frequent there and are fatal!

I am a nature girl and this place made me feel calm and relaxed. Inside the hectic city of SP, in the Zona Norte this little plot of forest is a welcome getaway. There are hundreds of butterflies and tropical trees. I even saw a strange animal that looked like a mix between a raccoon and a lemur. It is definitely a hike.. being from FL I'm used to flat ground. This is a mountain. But just go at a slow pace and it's fine. Once at the top, you have a breathtaking view of all of SP.. it really is humongous. A great photo op as well! A really nice place

lugar maravilhoso no final uma vista espetacular da cidade de são paulo mas prepare se é uma boa caminhada em subida 5km cheguei acabada mas pra quem esta acostumado beleza

A trilha de cerca de 10km (ida e volta) não é fácil, mas a recompensa no final vale a pena. A pedra é enorme e tem uma super vista da zona norte da cidade. Recomendo!

Ótimo caminhada até chegar a Pedra Grande e vista sensacional da cidade. Melhor ir quando há pouca poluição e bem cedo. Aos finais de semana costuma ser bem cheio.

Caminhe na natureza, saia da rotina e admire este local mágico dentro da cidade. Encontre com macacos, pássaros e outros animais silvestres. Tenha uma vista mágica da metrópole, que vale a caminhada de 10km.

Local muito bacana para quem gosta de caminhar e tem algum preparo físico (nada exagerado). Há trechos com subidas consideráveis.O visual lá de cima é bem bacana quando não está nublado.Não recomendado para crianças pequenas (até 6 anos). Normalmente elas não aguentam ir e voltar caminhando, e você terá que carregá-las. Não há lugar para comprar lanches ou comida, portanto leve o seu.Não permitem a entrada de animais e bicicletas.Lugar muito legal, mas se você não gosta de andar, não recomendo.

Bela caminhada respirando ar puro. Muito verde porem poucos animais. Acredito que alguns humanos devem afugentar nossos amigos.

Perto ao Horto Florestal(que é gratuito), o Núcleo Pedra Grande é pago e por essa razão não fica lotado, o que torna o lugar mais sossegado e agradável. Para chegar até a Pedra Grande é necessário uma boa caminhada, subindo, o que só é aconselhável para quem tem um preparo físico razoável! O caminho é asfaltado e arborizado, há banheiro e bebedouro na entrada do parque e banheiro próximo a Pedra Grande, de onde temos uma vista maravilhosa. Para quem gosta de se aventurar mais, pode-se caminhar mais um pouco e chegar ao Lago das Carpas e/ou prosseguir até a outro acesso ao parque, que se dá pelo Núcleo das Águas Claras.
