It is so much fun and walk for miles pick up clam shells. The sand and water so warm and the kids never want to leave. Great parking and a long Boardwalk too

The beach is mostly deserted most of the year, A fantastic walking beach, particularly great as the tide is going out. Get there really early for the one day sandcastle event as thousands of people come each year to witness this team building event. Wheelchair access ramp has area for a few chairs to sit and view the beach.

It's a ways from Halifax but worth the trip. Prepare for a day trip and you will enjoy your stay. Another word of precaution is check the weather for the area for fog. It is often foggy while it can be sunny in Halifax. Facilities on sight. If you go on Sandcastle building weekend, bring lots of patience, water and comfortable shoes as it's really busy.

Must go to place in August as the water is warm and the Sand Castles are wonderfully done. The Eastern Shore is place in Nova Scotia and still has a lot of unspoilt charm. Most tourists go to the South Shore and miss out on I think one of the nicest Shore Lines in Nova Scotia.

Although this beach may seem a little far to drive, it is absolutely worth it. It is so beautiful! The facilities there are in good shape, but the beach itself is breathtaking. Worth going for a walk along the shoreline and even beyond to discover the rocky coves - but be mindful of the tide!

This is one of our favorite beach spots. You can walk out into the ocean forever and there is a nice little sandbar you can walk on when the tide is out. We spend hours there each time we go and absolutely love playing in the waves when the tide comes in. Last time we went the beach was absolutely covered in tiny starfish and that was so amazing to see! Beautiful views, ample parking, good facilities, and nice hiking trails.

Every summer it's a must to get to this beach atleast once.We love the sandy beach, grassy picnic spots and washrooms, change rooms and outdoor showers. We spend hours floating in the ocean and searching for seashells. The only time parking is a problem is during the sandcastle contest.

There are so many beautiful beaches in Nova Scotia. Clam Harbour is a little further away from Halifax than many but it is worth the trip.

This beach is an easy walk from the parking lot to the beach.it also has large washrooms and deck area for people not able to get down to the beach and want to just look out at the view.We were here at low tide and it was amazing with a sand bar and tons of room for everyone.I have seen lots of Provincal beaches and this one is one of my favorites.

An amazing beach in beautiful Nova Scotia. Lots of room for everyone, well maintained facilities. Worth the drive.

Had a wonderful day at the 36th annual Sandcastle Building event at Clam Harbour Beach. This beach is very clean and there is lots of room for everyone. Dogs are welcome (on leash) and the bathrooms and facilities were in great shape. We loved walking along the sandy beach, playing in the water and relaxing in the sun. Great place to visit. There were several food trucks in the parking area today but I don't think this is typical.

My favorite beach by far in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Huge beach with lots of room for exploring and finding shells and sand dollars! Let's keep it a secret

This beach is so far out of the way, but it is beautiful. Huge beach, not packed, lots of running space for the kids . I could go on and on. The best part... No cell service :)
