I have golfed this course for many years. In its glory it was 18 nice holes but with the recent housing development in the area, was reduced to 9 holes a few years ago. I guess it was sold to a local family and the decline since has been evident. I would still go there oocassionally because it wasnt busy and i could take my time and get lots of practice. However when i went last week i was shocked at how bad it was and in such decline it should be closed. It is obvious this has come with the new owners who have absolutely NO CLUE as to how to keep the grounds or provide basic maintaine. Dont waste your time or money...I asked for a refund and they only gave me half back. I literally coulndt even play a few holes, there were downed trees and brances strewn across the greens, the grsses were all too long...the list could go on....

My title says it all. Developers are all over it. Won't be there much longer. They clearly don't care about the property. Was just there this past weekend. There was garbage all over the place. I heard the owner (or one of them anyway) on the phone saying the kitchen was a mess. It's just nasty. $20 for golf is still over charging for this place. The tee markers on the ground must be from the original course when it was 18 (a long, long time ago)...it's sister course "Parkshore" is another long lost memory. I'd rather pay $15 more and golf somewhere else knowing I'd enjoy it. The greens are brown, with grass shavings and other crap all over them, On the last hole you can even tell the grounds keepers drove on the damn green. What a dump.

This is a poor nine hole course that is not well maintained and is often offered at a significant discount on sites like groupon

This is not a golf course, but a vacant lot with tees and what they call greens. Greens all looked like they had just been cut in random spots, and the holes have not been changed for weeks. Tee blocks missing, garbage all over the place, etc. Went on a Saturday at 3pm, there were only 2 other people on the course. Never been there before, and will never go back. It is the first time I paid 18 $ to golf and feel I totally got ripped off. They should just close the place so suckers like me don't keep getting screwed over.

The golf course is not well maintained and very cut up from its original 18 holes. It is now a nine hole course. Unless you get a half off deal it's not worth it.

The course has improved over the last year or so. The first hole leaves a lot to be desired, it has been under construction for the last year and is not getting better with age. The second hole is challenging, but is also under construction with the tee box in a poor location. The sand traps need to be worked on. The grounds around the clubhouse a run down. There are better nine hole courses in Brampton better than this one. Try Peel Village.

I remember playing Castlemore when it was a full 18 holes, but now it is just down to 9. Still, while not perfect, it does have some nice challenging holes. Not up to snuff for the purists, but still an inexpensive 9 hole round can be had. Staff is excellent.

Of the seven 9 hole courses I've played in Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville and Burlington, this is the best one I've played. The rates are very reasonable (for carts too) and the course has some mature and classic aspects to it. More so than any suburban course I've played. There are quite a few trees lining some of the holes and lots of elevation change and ponds and creeks that make it challenging, fun and scenic. Pretty nice clubhouse too.

Had a funeral memorial service there and they served a light snack. Very nice. Close parking with easy access.
