We had a good time here but only after I had to "call out" Byron on some issues. The deals they offer are great but watch your receipt to make sure you are getting what you paid for. It can be a bit un-organized at times but if you are pro-active, it should be fine. If you sit back and "wait" for service, you might get frustrated. It can be a bit crazy trying to get a drink so be aggressive. Many in our party of 30+ had ordered their lunches around 9:30Am and never got them as of Noon. No one was getting the "included" meal. I approached Byron about this and he got very defensive and we had a bit of a confrontation. In the end, I told him to "make it right". I am happy to say he did "make it right", and in a big way. He took control and in no time, everyone got their meals, many Free drinks and he and the entire staff became the fun, personable, good time group we were hoping for. Byron, I told you I would post a negative review if needed to, but you got it done. I am happy to post this "positive" review. In the end, you went above and beyond to take care of all of us, even getting us a taxi and helping us load up into it. Be good man! Hope to see you again someday.........TOM

We decided to try Junkanoo beach as it was close well it was a 30 min walk from the ship. We stopped at a few shops and ended up at the tiki hut. They set up our chairs and let us know about the 4 beers and 4 shots for 9.99. My boys had several free pinacoladas as kids drink free. It did seem they were made different each time I tasted one and it reminded me of snow ice cream not pinacoladas. We sampled the jerk chicken and it was great. We ordered it and it tasted like ketchup on bbq chicken. It wasn't the best but still ok.

BYRON and AMANDA treated our group of 6 people GREAT!!! He called us the RICK ROSS GROUP.. Lol, I would recommend anyone to stop there and relax on the beach GREAT conch fritters and salad and jerk chicken... Byron really showed a lot of love

Byron and Amanda are the best sales people in Nassau they have the most awesome deals like 4 beers for 9.99 and free wi-fi!!!! Trust me i hope you get to go you will have a blast! And Vago,Jordan,and Brandon will definitely get you drunk! And Shane is the best chef ever!

Don't waste your time at Senior Frogs or Fat Tuesday's, come straight to Tiki Bikini Hut at Junkanoo beach, you will not be disappointed!! Excellent service, friendly people, GREAT PRICES! Pay the 79.99 package for 4 people and you will be treated like VIP, food for 4, delicious, a bunch of drinks, SWEET, lounge chairs for the beach and 2 big beach umbrellas.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THE BIG RESTAURANTS! I wish we found this place earlier on during our trip, we would be there everyday.

We had a great afternoon with Byron at The Tiki Bikini hut. We spent the afternoon well taken care of as we sampled the four beer and four shots for $10 followed by a delicious jerk chicken and rice dish. The only downfall was that the free wifi did not work.

Drinks are cheap, service is amazing and the beach is right at your door step. You have to stop here! We had beers, shots and coconut frozen drinks!

Listen, Amanda and Byron make me want to quit my job (I work for myself) and pack my stuff and move to Nassau to work for them!!!!! A few friends and I had come to visit on a cruise, walked around, bar hopped and we stumbled upon the Tiki Bikini Hut. The party was HERE. I should've come straight here from the cruise and partied and went home-nowhere else! Byron is AWESOME and his staff are even awesome-errr if that's even a word. They make you feel like family and get you a nice buzz at the same time. The view is amazing and I really must admit. Out of all of my events on this trip-Miami, South Beach, the cruise, the Bahamas--my BEST time was with these guys at the Tiki Bikini Hut. Thanks for a marvelous time BYRONNNNNNNNNN--nnnnnnnnnnn-nnnnnn!! Lol (We didn't forget you guys as well: Brandin, Jordan and Shavago) love Kia & the crew! I hope you all get a chance to read this!

We had a short stop in Nassau on our Carnival Cruise, with a 2pm departure, so we decided to venture down to Junkanoo beach for a few hours. With the little ones, the walk took about 15 minutes from the ship. We got the "VIP" package from The Tiki Bikini Hut that included 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, 4 alcoholic drinks and free soft drinks for the kids for $45 dollars. Overall, I think the value was decent, but the service wasn't. The bar was poorly run so it took forever to get a drink. There was no wait staff, and to get a drink at the bar seemed to take forever and you had to ask for it multiple times as the bartender would forget what he was doing. The beach itself was ok, but a bit shell covered which made walking uncomfortable, and took away from the enjoyment. There are public bathrooms there, but they are manned by rude bahamian women who make you feel like they are doing a favor by letting you use them. Having a woman sitting well inside the mens room made me uncomfortable, and tipping was not only expected, it was demanded. There were locals who would approach us to sell their wares on the beach, but nothing too bad. Unfortunately, we didn't feel overly welcome in Nassau and it reminded me too much of Jamaica. On the way back to the ship we also visited the straw market and the people behaved very similar to those on the beach. They aren't very friendly or nice, and it felt like they were just out to get as much of your money as possible. Overall, I didn't think much of The Tiki Bikini Hut, Junkanoo Beach, or Nassau in general. There are many nicer places in Mexico and the Caribbean where the people understand tourism and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and part of their island home.

Before heading to Nassau I thankfully stumbled upon this page and marked it down as a place to go while we were there. Totally worth it and such a great local place. Loved the bartender and met some great people, and you just can't beat the beer and shot combo, 3 beers and 3 shots for $9.99. If you want a real experience go here instead of Senor Frogs!

Great place to grab drinks for an unbeatable deal - 3 beers and 3 shots for $9.99! Right on the beach, and just a 5 minute walk from where all of the action is. Met some fun people and had an unforgettable afternoon there! Definitely will return!Bonus - free wifi!

Best place on the beach. Everyone should make there way here and see LeoNardo the Bartender. They have awesome food and great drink prices.

my fiance and i travel ALOT ..but i can honestly say that this place is absolutely amazing. the atmosphere, food, strong drinks...the service, the friendliness of the staff is above and beyond any thing we have ever encountered...i plan on coming back to this spot for many years to come. amanda and byron go out of their way to make sure their guests have a great experience here on junkanoo beach. it is off the beaten path meaning it is set away from Senor Frogs etc.. it has such a fun, laid back atmosphere, the beach and pier are beautiful - the price of beer was great, and Byron is AMAZING, great guy - so fun! If you make it here be sure to sign your name on the bar walls. We spent the entire afternoon here and nearly missed our departing cruise. What an awesome day!
