I spent my first day of 2015 here in this beautiful beach. The beach is very far from the main city of Pagasinan but the long travel is all worth it upon seeing this white sand beach. Its beauty is unspoiled. For non swimmers, its shallow water is a haven. Very relaxing. You get to unwind here as it is less touristy plus the food is pretty cheap. Entrance fee is 15 pesos only. The beach huts range from 300 to 500 pesos. . :D
I've been here many times! With family and with friends!Tondol Beach is fondly called by the locals of Anda as the "Boracay of the North" and with good reason!Tondol may not have the glitz and the parties of Boracay, but what it offers is a jaw-droppingly beautiful long coast of fine white sand beaches set in a very quiet and peaceful village. So if you want a private, quiet and memorable escape, this is the one for you!Truly a treasure to be proud of
on the eastern coast is a small town called Anda..its a beatuiful coast with a public beach..benches..shelter..a place to cook,,swim..relax..explore..there are places to stay..nice rooms.clean..places to eat..the beach gets a crowd, mostly locals cooling off mostly on the weekends..its a friendly peaceful area..there are buses on the main road coming and going all the time..from the main road get a tri/cad// for a short ride..hire for the day to ensure a return trip..or if at one of the hotels they will get you a ride..
we read blogs before we went to tondol and we got mix reviews so we don't really know what to expect, a part of me hopes for the best. they beautiful places are hard to reach and now i know what they mean our 6 hrs travel are so worth it, the beach is just awesome, wonderful, almost perfect! the sand may not be as white and not as fine as boracay but the beach has its own beauty. the water was very calm and shallow and safe for kids. they have few resorts but we opt to stay at the more secluded side and pitch a tent.the beach has a lot of seaweeds maybe the locals should clean up but on the other hand the marine life seems abundant because of the presence of it. anyway, i just love this place so much and i'll recommend this to all the people who wants to go and run away from the busy life of manila. tips and reminder: -there's a km rough road before reaching the beach proper.-there are many insects at night so bring off lotion-don't forget the sunscreen-buy all necessities before going to tondol as the only sari sari store is a little bit pricey. -go full tank coz when you reach anda gas price go sky high-do nothing and enjoy!
